Frequently asked questions

A few useful answers before you sign up.

Clear answers for landlords, property managers and anyone helping to look after a property.

No. A tenant can scan the property QR code or use the secure link and complete the report in their browser.

In Propvestra, a property manager is simply someone you authorise to help look after one or more of your properties. They do not have to be a letting agent or work for a professional management company. It could be a family member, business partner, trusted friend, maintenance coordinator, employee, caretaker or another person who helps you manage the day-to-day running of a property.

Yes. If, for example, your partner, son, daughter, brother, sister or another trusted family member helps deal with tenants or maintenance, you can use the property-manager role to give them access to the relevant properties without treating them as the landlord account holder.

No. The role is deliberately flexible. A professional letting agent can use it, but so can an informal helper who manages repairs, checks reports, contacts tradespeople or helps you keep on top of a property. The important part is that you choose who is authorised.

Yes. Property-manager access can be linked to the properties they are responsible for. That means one person could help with a particular property or group of properties while somebody else helps with another part of your portfolio.

Yes. For the properties assigned to them, a property manager can work with tenant reports as part of the management workflow — for example reviewing a new issue, following its progress and updating the report status as work moves forward.

No. Property-manager access is based around assigned properties. They only need visibility of the properties and reports relevant to the work you have given them, rather than automatically being given access to your entire portfolio.

Yes. Adding a property manager is about sharing the workload, not handing over your landlord account. You can still use your landlord dashboard, see your properties and follow reports while an authorised person helps manage the properties assigned to them.

It can be useful whenever more than one person is involved in looking after a property. A landlord might have a family member handle repairs while they are at work, give a maintenance coordinator responsibility for several buildings, or work with a professional property manager. Propvestra gives those people a defined way to help without everyone needing to share the landlord's login.

No. The property-manager role is intended to provide separate access for the authorised person, so you do not need to give somebody else the password to your landlord account simply because they help manage a property.

Yes. Propvestra is structured around units, so a unit can represent a house, flat, room or another rentable unit you manage.

Plans are based on the number of units you manage rather than simply counting buildings. This works better for landlords with flats, HMOs and mixed portfolios.

The tenant uses the QR code or secure property link, enters the repair details and contact information, and submits the report so it appears in the appropriate management workflow.

Yes. The reporting flow supports useful attachments such as repair photos and supported documents, helping the landlord or property manager understand the issue before responding.

Yes. Reports stay associated with the relevant property and can move through statuses such as New, In progress and Resolved, giving you a clearer history of what has happened.

No tenant account is needed for the property reporting flow. The aim is to make reporting a problem as straightforward as scanning the property QR code and completing the form.

Landlord sign-up continues through secure Stripe checkout after email verification. Payment processing remains separate from the tenant reporting workflow.

Yes. Propvestra plans are shown as cancel anytime, so you are not being asked to commit to a long fixed contract on the landing page.
